Disney Plus has seamlessly integrated Hulu into its platform for subscribers to the Disney Bundle in the United States, following the successful model of the Star hub integration on Disney Plus in Europe. This move eliminates the need for subscribers to switch between multiple apps, offering a more convenient and cohesive viewing experience.
After a three-month beta period, subscribers to the Disney+ and Hulu bundle can now access Hulu content directly within the Disney Plus app. This integration reflects Disney’s commitment to enhancing its streaming service and providing subscribers with a diverse range of entertainment options.
Hulu’s extensive content library includes titles such as The Bear, Shogun, and Only Murders in the Building, catering to both family-friendly and more adult-oriented preferences. These titles are seamlessly integrated into Disney Plus, appearing in recommendations, sets, and collections across the platform.
Joe Earley, President of Direct-to-Consumer, Disney Entertainment, emphasized that Hulu content is now fully integrated into Bundle subscribers’ homepages, enhancing the overall user experience.
To mark the merging of Disney Plus and Hulu, Disney Plus unveiled a refreshed logo featuring a new color palette symbolizing the convergence of the two streaming services. This new logo represents a more adult-oriented aesthetic while maintaining Disney’s iconic branding elements.
By bringing together the extensive libraries of Disney Plus and Hulu, Disney aims to cater to the diverse preferences of its audience while offering unparalleled convenience and value to subscribers. With the Hulu integration now live, Disney Plus subscribers can enjoy a streamlined streaming experience, accessing a vast array of content all in one place.
